I have quick question, coming month (April) I am going to Indian and planning for stamping. I have advance parole with me. If my visa got rejected or delayed can I come back to USA using my advance parole?

Hello,
this is my orange work during the time. This is Me and My Girlfriend during the one very exciting holiday. It was very warmer ,I was very thirsty , enough "fall in love" and found this wonderful place, which we named "Orange Hills".

My Lawyer also suggested that we apply Porting PD after the second I 140 gets approved instead of doing it at the time of applying for second I 140.

Hey folks who signed up for advocacy days: I am so proud of you! You signed up for the good of all of us. I heard some of you are not confirming your participation. This cannot be an option at this point!
After all the effort IV has put in in securing the appointments, I, V, We all are counting on you. You had the best intentions when you signed up and we appreciate that, now we need you to finish grad school without being a drop out.
Many hundreds of hours have gone into organizing this event and not having folks at a meeting that has been confirmed is bad PR for IV and disappointing, sad and frustrating for the people who have been working tirelessly. Can't have it, can't tolerate it. You guys must follow through on your commitment!!!!
PM me if you have some pressing issue and maybe we can muster up some help to pull you through..

I have a difficult situation , i have a H1B expiring in 5 Days and also ending the 6 yr period. My company is filing a H1B to L1A conversion application from US in premium processing
1. Is it legal to stay until L1A is approved? for duration of 2 weeks until L1 Premium processing is done
2. In L1A is rejected, would it be legal to travel citing the rejection of L1 petition
Please help me with any insight you may have
Just want to add that , the company is asking me to go on an admin leave for the period

I have a quick question. My I140 got approved in sep'08. Should I have to wait till PD gets current or I can file for I485 and USCIS will process my application according to my PD?

I came to US on L1(worked for 1 year) and then switched to F1 till getting my H1B on May 2005 (which is 2 years old). How many years(3 or 4) do I have left on H1? I mean will the 1 year L1 count towards the total six years allocated for H1B?

I applied for my EAD and AP extension on AUG 17 2009 and my EAD was expiring on AUG 29th 2009. While my wifes EAD and AP got approved, I had an RFE as I had not sent the recent photographs so I sent that and the receipt date for that was OCT 9 2009.
I continued working and got paid, after speaking to friends I realized, getting paid on a Expired EAD is not right.
I have taken a infopass to discuss this with USCIS to get an update.
One more point I wanted to make was that my payroll company doesn't know about this and doesn't care. But if I bring it up then .they might immediately terminate my employment.
How do I fix this? Please suggest.

I need small help from you. I filed my EAD on july 17th and aug 2nd my green card is approved. I got mail from USCSIS that my application, fees and all supporting documents are returned due to either invalid fees or document is not signed which is not a case becauase i filed efile and paid by credit card and i sent them all supporting document. I guess they return because my GC is approved.
So can i claim fees paid my credit card back ? is there any body in same situation ? they mentioned in letter that fees will be back but i do not see that is case.
Appriciate if you help to understand that if they will give me money back or not.. i called customer services and they told me that i can not get it back but they were not sure.

It means Advance Parole. You will be eligible to apply for AP if your application for adjustment of status is pending with USCIS, and you need this document to re enter the US from overseas travel.

Maybe the 60 Minutes story from a few months ago is making a difference. DHS finally agreed today to show some humanity and not proceed for two year with deporting widows and widowers of US citizens (often American soldiers who die in combat) who only were denied green cards because their spouses died before USCIS could finish processing their cases. The courts have not been consistent in their rulings and it is going to take the US Supreme Court settling the matter (or DHS backing down). Hopefully, this marks the end of USCIS' rabid pursuit of a population that deserves...
