USCIS posted processing time as of Aug 31 2009.

They also updated information on their site about backlog.
USCIS: National Processing Volumes and Trends (http://dashboard.uscis.gov/) .
Backlog for I 485 pre adjudicated application went up by 20k. USCIS has mentioned few times that they will pre adjudicate all cases by Oct 2009. So we may see increase in those number till Oct 2009 posting. After that we will see reduction. How much reduction.. No one can guess. But definitely EB2 will not get more than 25k per year so it will be easily 5 years to clear all backlog for Eb2. Number may go up because of Eb3 - Eb2 porting after one year when they get their labor approved.

Need urgent help.
I have files my visa (H1B), where I have diffence in my first name printed in my passport than on all my degree certificates.
In my 10th standard certifciate it was printed as "Gorav" should have been "Gaurav". But in all my degree certificates it's "Gaurav".
My last name is same in all certificates, passport etc.
My parents name and Date of birth and home address is also same in all certificates and passport.
When I filed my H1B I filled up my first name as "Gorav" (as it is in passport).
What shall I do know? Will it have any impact on my visa approval?
What shall I do before they ask me for any question?
Please help as it's time sensitive issue

Please be aware that W2s at 140 stage are mainly asked to judge the "ability to pay" of the employer. There can be other reasons too.

Need to prove my non-immigration status from Nov 29 2007 to Nov 24 2008 .
I have I-797 ( H1-B approval ) for the above mentioned period. But My Last Name in the approval has a typo error ( in place of letter A they misstyped U). My Enployer has opened a Service request to correct the Name in H1 B approval. But he is saying that he never got the corrected approval. Time went by and i applied for H1 ext..i got the H1 extension from Nov 25 2008 to Nov 2011.
So My question is
Is it okay to submit all the documention that was sent to USCIS to correct the name along with the I 797,I-94 for the above mentioned period and explain them that we did not recieved the corrected I-797 ? or not
Please suggest me ..

The case status message for mine and my wife's EAD changed to Card production ordered. It did not change to Approval notice sent. I received the EAD cards within 1 week of the Card Production e-mail. However my lawyer received the Approval notices (wife and mine) first week of October.

Our I-485 applications were received by Texas Lock box on September 24th. I have not received the receipt number yet. We are leaving to India on Nov 20th for vacation, its quite stressful because we need that receipt before we travel.

My wife couldn't get Xray on a failed TB skin test, because she was pregnant at the time we filed our 485. Our priority date will be current in August.
Should we wait for a RFE on her medicals? Or is it possible to go ahead and do it, and send an update to USCIS?

Good news for EB2-I people with 1999 and earlier PD's. They have been waiting far too long. Good luck for them. They have now done 10 years in the US, and will qualify for SS, anyway.

I am moving 60 miles from where I live now. I am planning to do following two things.
1. File a Form AR-11
2. Call this number (800) 375-5283 for pending I-485 and EAD renewal applications for self and spouse
Do I need to update the address on approved AP/I-140/EAD or any other approved applications as well.
Am I missing something :confused:
Please advice....Thanks :)
